So my Google nest hub displays my daughter’s  profile and thinks it’s her.

I have reset it. Signed in signed out with my email address.

why would it connect to my 9 year old daughter?
when I ask “hey Google, what’s my name”

It says my daughter’s name? How can I fix this, so it’s mine.

Google home app is signed into my account, displays photos from my Google photo account . So frustrating !

Hi @kittykat26,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Google Nest hub is telling you your daughter's name when the device is under your account. But don't worry; let's work on it.

Let's check some settings in your Google Home app. Here are the steps to change your nickname. With this process, we're going to check if the nickname that is currently saved is your daughter's name and change it to discard this option.

Additionally, you can ask your Google Home device to remember your preferred name without changing or updating the name on your Gmail account. Just say, "Hey Google, remember my name is (your name)," and then it will start to call you by your preferred name.

Let me know how hot it goes.

Best regards,

Lusvin.
