app launcher on google nest hub max

I bought a new google nest hub max and have set up everything. I have linked my streaming accounts but it hasn't been possible to stream Netflix  and disney on a Nest Hub. 

also when i swipe up there is no app showing, no apps launcher. 

i am in Singapore, using a US version, latest software. 

my friend in singapore who is using the same has app launcher

please help thank you

I appreciate all the details you've shared. Have you tried performing a complete reset to your Google Nest Hub Max after you noticed it? Could you share us the cast firmware version of your Google Nest Hub Max?

 

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Tap your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.

I'm afraid I have the same issue (Belgium).
There is no app launcher to be seen.
Could someone help me ?

It never worked before. 
I bought it one week ago, and ever worked the same out of the box.

> Reset to factory settings.
> Disconnect / reconnect to the home.

I switch the language to English (US), and it appeared.
Unfortunately, it did not work as expected.

Hello ! 

I would really like the app launcher on my Hub2, but I can't figure out where the enable it ?

Is it a "location thing" ? I mean, not supported in Denmark ? or is it not there anymore???

I bought the hub after reviews seen on youtube, where they had the app launcher. But without the app launcher, it just feels like a picture frame on a nest speaker.
