google executes routine perfectly but says sorry I don't understand. These routines have always worked just fine.

I have routines that have always worked fine. When I activate the voice command, Google executes perfectly, but says: “ Sorry, I don’t understand”.

Does your routine include an announcement that is supposed to play on the device that activated the routine? All my routines that include announcements have started doing the same thing.

When I look in My Activity it looks like Assistant thinks I said the text defined in the announcement and is trying to interpret it as a new command, instead of just saying the announcement. I opened a case with Google and they are looking into it.
