google home mini only plays censored versions of songs on spotify

been using my Google home mini for a while now (years even) and I never had this problem before. I recently just got Spotify premium so I could request specific songs and have no ads. problem is, my GHM only plays the censored version of songs, which is really irritating because I don't like the clean versions.

I've turned off any filters in the wellbeing centre and my Spotify settings allow me to play explicit songs in general - I double  checked just in case. I also reset my GHM just now and set it up again to see if that would fix anything. it didn't.

what do I do now?? please help

Sorry to hear about this experience. I also appreciate all the steps you've tried trying to resolve this. Could you check if you are also experiencing this with playing YouTube Music? I'd like to check if the issue is isolated only on Spotify.

Plus, could you toggle the filters in Digital Wellbeing  by turning off and turning on the filters. Once you're done turning it on, reboot your Google Nest Mini by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes. Once plugged in, turn off the filters and let's see if will make any difference.
