To save you some grief, just disable the IPv6 on the router or modem, and that will fix the issue.

Hopefully Google will figure it out a fix before we run out of IPv4s

Enjoy!

I have been struggling with this issue for weeks - this fixed it… however worked on ipv6 enabled network before then - did google break it with an update?? Hope they fix this annoying issue!

Not sure why it happens, but it points to a rerouting issue within Google cloud, who knows :). For sure the issue affected globe wide devices.  The annoying thing here is the fact they won't admit it, and make people waste their time in useless troubleshooting. Regards

Hey folks,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

Some users have confirmed that it is already fixed on their end. Has anyone here already tried to perform a complete reset to their Google Home devices? Let's go ahead and try that after unplugging your router from the power source for a few minutes. As soon as everything is plugged in, set it up and see if it shows the same behavior.
