i just bought the google nest gen 1 used, but the plug is american and I am in europe! I was wondering if i could power it throught a usb phone charger!

The USB charger won't work but you may want to try a US to Europe region plug converter.

I tried and yes it works wonders with a usb charger with 5v 1a
