since a month ago I have had several problems with my google devices, which were working wonderfully and without problem.
the first problem is asking to play music in the group of columns: if you ask to play in only 1 it works, if asked to play in a group of 4 columns it informs that it will start but does not play music.
The second problem I had was working a nest column with an automation: whenever I turned on the bathroom light (shelly device) the column played music, this also stopped happening. Are these failures related to the latest updates of the Google app?

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your Google Nest devices. First, let's make sure that the speakers are within a good range from each other. Could you try moving the speakers closer to and try to play any music to the group you created and see if this will work?
Also, to address your Home Automation issue, let's reboot first your speakers and router simply by unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes. After plugging it back, try the command, "OK Google, sync my devices".
