gray screen with G

I missed the step in setup, taking picture of scan code. Tried all recommended troubleshooting steps. Still stuck with gray G screen.

Hey wheelsrun,

 

Thanks for bringing this up. I know how challenging it is when you're having issues with your Google Nest Hub. I'd love to help. To confirm, is this a first-time setup? Which specific Nest Hub do you have (1st, 2nd generation, Nest Hub Max)? Please try the steps below that may help us fix the issue:

 

  1. At the back of the Nest display, unplug the power cord and wait for 10 seconds, then plug it back in and wait until the screen with the "G" logo shows up
  2. Repeat the first step, 10 more times.
  3. After the customer plugs the power cord back in, wait for the device to reset. The device announces "Welcome to Google Home" to signify that it's ready for setup.
