nest mini stopped working

My nest mini does not work anymore. I bought it about 3 years ago. I have reset it several times but at the last step it always says that the set up failed. I have changed wifi network and it ends with same result. I have called Google and the help guided me through many processes and he finally concluded that the update got stuck. In reality I checked and the firmware is the latest available. I've not been using already for a year

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. A few questions: are you using private or shared Wi-Fi? If private, is your router dual-band? Have you tried connecting your Google Nest Mini to both bands? What is the exact message you are getting? Do you have other setup devices (another phone or tablet)?

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your support.

I have private wifi and I tried both 2.4 and 5ghz, if that is what you mean.

If I remember correctly the message was "There was a problem setting up Nest Mini".

I will try to set it up on a new phone and let you know.

I tried with a different smartphone and different account and it also got stuck.

Th error message is the same right at the last step of the process: "There was a problem setting up Nest Mini. For help resolving this issue, visit the Help Center"

Nobody knows what to do here?
