group doesnt work most of the time

I created a group so I would have music throughout the house. Lately, the group only works a small percentage of the time. Google home will acknowledge the task when i say play on group but will say " something went wrong, try again" and will continually say this, Ive deleted groups, factory reset all nests and hub. app lets me create group so they are all recognized, but nothing is working...very frustrated!

My apologies for the delayed response.  I know how challenging it is when you're having issues playing music on speaker group with your Google Nest speakers and display. A few questions: when did the issue start? Have you changed any settings on your router lately? How far are your devices from the router? Are you able to play music on individual devices? Are you able to cast? What is the make and model of your router?

 

Let's try these steps below:

 

  1. Move your Nest speakers and display within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your speakers and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
