I cannot play music on my nest mini speaker. I keep getting a message "i also need which device to use, try saying that again including the devices name". When I include the device name it still says the same thing "i also need which device to use, try saying that again including the devices name".

If I manually cast some music to my nest mini it works. However, if I say "ok google stop" to stop playing the music, I get the same message "i also need which device to use, try saying that again including the devices name"

I have 3 nest minis and it happens on all 3.

Yep, same thing happening to me. I thought it was because I was trying it on a Lenovo Smart Display 7 - you know, the ones that Google has now decided to stop supporting 😞
But then went and tried the same command on my Google Mini speaker - same result... "I also need to know which device to use..."

Strange that when I ask it to play the album "Abbey Road", it works - "Sure, playing the album Abbey Road on Spotify". But then I ask it to play the album "Led Zeppelin II", and I get that annoying "I also need to know which device to use..."

I spent the day chatting with Google support and they said it's a bug with the latest android version and a fix is rolling out.

Just as suddenly that it started. It's now working again!
