Hi @Amit_ve_tech!

Thank you for reaching out to the community! I understand you're having some issues trying to set up your Nest Mini Device. I understand how frustrating this situation can be, and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the inconvenience.

Before we continue, I need to know more information about this issue to provide you with more accurate troubleshooting steps:

  • When did the issue start?
  • Where did you buy your device?
  • What is the language and region that you set up on your app/phone?
  • What app are you using (e.g., Google Home app, Assistant app)?

Once you send me the information, I will be more than happy to help you. I will be waiting for your answer.

Best regards,

Debora

Hi @Amit_ve_tech

Thank you for sharing the information with me! Usually, this issue happens when you have different language settings between the Google Home app and your phone.

I recommend that you temporarily change the language to English (US) and verify that it's the same as your phone's settings. Then, you can check if you notice any difference on the device.

Please try these steps and let me know if you notice a change. I will be waiting for your answer.

Best regards,

Debora

Hi! @Amit_ve_tech

Sure! To match the phone language with the Google Assistant, you only need to follow the following steps:

Open the Settings app.

  • Select Language & Region and then tap Add Language and then select English US.
  • Another recommendation that I can provide you is to check for any available iOS options on your iPhone. Sometimes if the phone is outdated, it can be an issue with the pairing process, so you can check that also.

After you change and check those options on the Google App, please try to set up your device again!

Let me know if those steps were helpful for you. I will be happy to assist you with more steps if those are needed.

Best regards,

Debora

Hello,

Thank you it is working now, I have changed the iPhone and Google Assistant language as USA.

Just a final one, can I change the language setting now to English UK, will it work?
