Hi philippe3,

Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that your Google Nest Hub is showing a mix of French and English and displaying the temperature in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius, even though your settings in the Google Home app are correct. I appreciate you letting me know that your Google Home device is working well, as that helps me understand what you're experiencing. Don't worry, I'd be happy to help you figure this out.

To get started, please provide some more information by answering these questions:

In the meantime, I recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps to set your Google Assistant's responses to French:

  1. Go to your smartphone settings and update the language setting of the smartphone to match Google Assistant’s language.
  2. Set up the default language on the smartphone to match with Google Assistant by following this instructions:
    • Open the Google Home app and tap “Settings.”
    • Select “Language & Region.”
    • Tap “Add Language.”
    • Select the language you set on your smartphone.
  3. After performing step 1 and 2, restart your display:
    • Unplug the power cord from your display.
    • Leave it unplugged for ~1 minute.
    • Plug the power cable back in.
    • Check if your display is working fine. If not, please go to the next step.
  4. Perform a factory reset on your display:
    • On the back of the device, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your display will let you know it's resetting.
  5. Set up your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) again. Here is a helpful Google Nest Help Center article to learn more: Set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display.
  6. When you set it up, make sure the smartphone you're using is in the language you'd like your display to be in.
    • Go to your smartphone's settings.
    • Update the language setting on your smartphone to match the desired Google Assistant language.

Please let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Virna
