mini Speaker (2 gen) & nest (2 gen) speaker group freezes and lags when streaming Youtube music

I have mini Speaker (2 gen) and nest (2 gen) united in speaker group. I stream music from Youtube music to this speaker group. (I have Youtube premium)

A week ago, freezes and lags began to appear on both devices (independent). Especially on a mini speaker.

I've tried resetting devices and adding them back to Google Home, but that doesn't help.

Sometimes the Internet drops out on any of my devices.

Sometimes only one device plays when strean to speaker group.

And I got a new ghost speaker group.

I didn't have those problems week ago. I didn't have problems for 2 month before.

Hi Endoel,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: were there recent changes made? Is it happening on all music services?

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

 

Once done, play songs from other music services like Spotify or any radio stations to see if the issue persists.

Also, it would help narrow things down if you can remove them from the speaker group and play music individually.
