mini nest

keeps saying " sign in on the google home app" I am signed in already. not sure what is going on with it . It keeps searching for devices on the setup.

Thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear that your Google Nest Mini is announcing that error message. I understand your concern and would be more than happy to help find a solution. First, I have some quick questions.

  • Is this the first time you are setting up your Google Nest Mini?
  • What country are you located in?
  • Is your Google Nest Mini showing up as connected in the Google Home App?
  • Where are you seeing the error message? On the device itself or the Google Home App?
  • Are you on the same WiFi network as your other devices? 
  • Can you please try to do a reboot and Factory Data Reset on your Google Nest Mini? Are there any improvements? 
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. 
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
