I got two nest hubs for father's day last June. I was really enjoying mine and was working fine and then we had a power outage in my whole neighborhood this morning for 2 hours and everything else in the house works but my nest hub did not fully come on and just said it was not connected to wi-fi after unplugging and plugging it in. I tried to add it again, but all it would do is light up with the multi color G. I even tried a factory reset and unplugged it multiple times and tried re-adding it on my iphone app but it couldn't find it. My daughters nest hub had no issue. My google doorbell still worked on my iphone. I finally gave up and took the new nest hub I had gotten for fathers day and I had to reinstall it but no issues and was easy to do. So I tried the old one again and it still wouldn't boot up all the way. This should have a one year warranty. I'm glad she gave me two of them even though until today I had never taken the new one out of the box.
I am trying to figure out how i can send it back in for repair or replacement. I am 77years old and use the nest up all day every day. I expect electronics to last for years.
How do I activate the warranty?
