HelloI have 3 google nest mini and a thermostat in my home.
Two of the mini as NO issues.
One keep being removed automatically from my home. We usually receive a message telling something like "<another inhabitant of the house>@gmail.com has disconnected nest-mini" but nobody has performed that action.
i tried (multiple time) :
- removing and re-adding
-factory reset keeping button pressed with mute on (multiple time) and then re-adding
- changing wifi 2.4 and 5g
- moving around to a location of a working one
- uninstalling and reinstalling google home app
- clearing google home app caches
nothing works, need support.
thank you
Misbehaving mini info :
system firmware version : 313652
google cast firmware : 1.56.313652

Hi,
I have the same problem as you (and i know more people have problems with this.
After couple of days, the Google Nest mini in my living room always get deleted. When you look in history, I see "MyEmailAddress has deleted the speaker out your house".
The firmware version is the same as yours...
My Google Nest mini KITCHEN has other firmware version (but this speaker had the same behavior couple months ago.
Since then the first speaker removes itself every 5 to 7 days.
I bought both speakers together in a set.
The only difference i see: firmware version of my speaker in living room is not updated AND is set-up in French language... the speaker in the kitchen is english.... weird...

Hi folks,
@gurubook, @YoDV, having to go through that isn’t the experience we want you to have and thank you for doing the necessary steps before posting. Let me ask some questions to narrow things down. What is the message when the disconnection happens? Do you have to manually reconnect it or does it reconnect by itself? Does it disconnect from Wi-Fi or it also gets unlinked from your account? Are there home members added to your account that has access to your devices?
It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot to refresh the settings and link between all your devices. Unplug the power cord from your router followed by your Nest devices. Restarting your phone might also help and then observe.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Dan

Hi Den
Last night at 3AM i heard the mini that keep disconnecting say ALOUD the welcome message, something like "Hi, i'm your new mini, to start install google Home" and it's gone.
Still on the app the mini is still present but as expected non reachable.
It does seem the mini reset itself to factory default.
The only way to fix that is remove the mini from the app and re-associate it.
Having done that so many time, at least twice a week, i feel frustrated.
No Wifi, app problem or else, tried everything, and also the other 2 mini kept working.
Have no clue, will trow in a bin if it's not fixable.

I feel your pain 😂. This bug is to long busy, 2 or 3 months…
BUT I see suddenly changes… for one reason the firmware version is updated to the same version of my other mini…
Firmware System: 324896
Firmware Cast: 1.56.324896
after my reply I changed assistant language from NL (Dutch) to Eng-US. Disabled auto updates. Re-enabled auto updates and I think I did some reset between every step…
I hope it is fixed… keep you posted!

Hi folks,
@YoDV, we'll wait for your reply.
@gurubook, it would help a lot if you could try the steps provided by our fellow community member. Start off with a factory reset to revert your Nest speakers back to its default and original settings. After that, change the assistant language to Eng-US and disable/re-enable auto updates and tell us how it goes.
Regards,
Dan
