"By the way, the microphone's off right now...."

Does anyone know how to stop Google from helpfully reminding me that, "By the way, the microphone's off right now. You can turn the microphone back on by toggling the switch on the back." (I may have some words wrong. My memory is not what it once was.)

So far this morning, it has helpfully reminded me five times. I know the microphone is off. The four orange lights that I can't turn off make it kind of hard to forget. I don't need to be helpfully reminded, certainly not five times before 10 AM.

This is not the experience we wanted you to have, let me help you. A few things: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.
