"connect to the same wi-fi" cannot find the Nest Audio

Hello,

Nest Audio was working fine this morning. I removed it from the house in error, so reset it.

I was able to find it in the Home app easy, and setup until it connected to the WiFi. It says it connected but that I cannot see it. I am on the same network and all of the other Nest devices are visible.

I have reset the speaker three times and have the same result.

I scrolled through other articles and use Nest WiFi (so AP isolation not an issue) and have uPNP turned on. The key thing is nothing has changed and this speaker was working yesterday.

Hello Sagarat,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

Sorry for the late response. I know how it feels when you're having issues connecting your Google Nest Audio to your network. To further isolate the issue, try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Nest Audio).

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi

The speaker appeared in the home app eventually.

All sorted thanks.
