21:9 aspect ratio on chomecast with google tv

I have an LG ultra wide 21:9 aspect ratio monitor hooked up to my CcWGTv the issue is that it only displays in 16:9 and there is no way to change the aspect ratio in settings. Is there anyway to get the chrome cast to output 21:9?

Hey there jonahberr,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! I know this response is long overdue, but I was digging around in the Chromecast with Google TV specifications, and it doesn't seem like there is a way to change that aspect ratio. Here is what I pulled out of the resolution specifications:

    
"Supports all resolutions: 480p, 720p, 1080p, 2160p output (User Interface default is 1080p) Aspect Ratio: 16:9, and 4K HDR Dolby Vision, in up to 60 fps."

I am sorry that I didn't have a way to change those settings, but if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.
