Ambient mode pictures appear darker, even after disabling Temperature, time, personal folder data

The bottom half of the photos being displayed has a heavy darkening applied to them, like a vignette, I read elsewhere on here that disabling the temperature, time and personal folder data display should remove this effect, but it doesn't. Half the photo is still heavily darkened. How can I fix this?

Hey there takkishit,

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Currently, the darkened effect is intentional for that extra information to be more legible on the bottom of the photo. If you choose to hide that information, it should remove that effect. If it doesn't, make sure both of your Google Home and Chromecast are up-to-date on their firmware first, then change the settings.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran
