Audio Dropout on Google TV Streamer (OS 14) during Dolby Digital Transcoding

Product: Google TV Streamer (OS 14, Version 6.4)
Setup: Google TV Streamer -> HA2-130eS (HDMI Extractor, 5.1CH EDID) -> Sony HT-S40R (HDMI ARC)
Issue Description:
I am experiencing a persistent audio issue where the sound completely cuts out after 1-2 hours of playback. This occurs when I manually select "Dolby Digital" in the system settings and uncheck "Dolby Digital Plus" to match my Sony HT-S40R's capabilities.
Key Observations:
  1. In Netflix, even when it shows the "5.1" tag (with DD+ disabled in settings), the rear speakers often have no sound or the system eventually goes silent.
  2. HBO Go works fine with 5.1 (likely using standard AC3), but Netflix (using E-AC3/DD+) seems to trigger a transcoding bug in the OS 14 system.
  3. After the audio drops out, I must restart the device or re-plug the HDMI to restore sound.
It appears to be a stability issue with the real-time transcoding engine in the new Google TV Streamer software. Is this a known bug in Version 6.4, and is there a planned fix?
