Recently purchased this device. Not new to Google TV , but mostly via TV OEM (Sony, HiSense). I thought switching to Google TV will have a better app experience since the software comes directly from Google. However this is not the case. For example the NBC app does not work at all. And if you look at the ratings this is a common experience. Google needs to do a better job curating apps and ensuring quality, especially from major publishers. The current status render the device unusable and is pushing loyal Google customers to other devices like Roku and Apple TV. Allowing below two star rating apps is unacceptable.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We understand that you’re disappointed with the app. The availability of the app on a particular platform (Google TVs, iOS devices, Android smartphones, Android TVs, Apple TVs, Fire TVs, etc.) depends on whether they can and are willing to market their apps on such a platform. Their performance doesn’t define the particular device or platform capability, especially if there are other apps (competition) of similar nature that work perfectly on the same platform. I suggest you report directly or send feedback to the app developers for improvement.
