Can't pair Google TV remote white LED light is off

Hello 👋

I can't pair my remote even I did a factory reset to my chromecast,  I just bought the device 2 weeks ago, once I updated the remote it stoped works also after a factory reset.

In my opinion as I have tried too many time following up with all videos and research 🙃  the home button not working. It seems if press and hold back button + home button, nothing happens. The reason I say that because on/off button + silence 🔕  button are work on my TV.

Please need any help, I can not buy a separate remote as it's not available in my country ( Saudi Arabia).

Kind regards.

It's stuck on the pairing mode on very first-time, if the remote doesn't work properly,  my device = zero. Nothing I can do.

Hey there Adnanalhasani25,

I'm real sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that remote issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • Are you using AAA 1.5 V alkaline batteries?
  • What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
  • What model of TV do you have?

Also, according to our device availability, it does not look like Saudi Arabia is a supported country, this may cause the devices to not work as intended.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

I contacted the company that I have bought the device from, and returned it back to fix it or replace it or give me a refund. Because of the warranty 2 years. I appreciate your assistance.
