When trying to use the Youtube Kids app on the Chromecast with Google TV, I am immediately told that I cannot sign into my own account, or any kids account. I have Youtube Premium that I pay for in part so my kids aren't barraged by ads, and this bug makes it so that ads play. There are many other people reporting this issue since as far back as 2022. I'll link to some of them here.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Youtube Kids app.
2. Select Get Started using the remote (this is the only available option)
3. Answer the "Grown ups Only" math problem.
This is when I (and many others) get the error saying I cannot sign into my account, or use a kids profile. Again, what this means is that even if I continue and set the app up, Youtube Kids plays ads for my children, which I am paying for Youtube Premium to have not happen.
Can we please get a bug/change ticket filed ASAP. It is clear this is an outstanding, ongoing problem.
