Have you tried the steps in this guide?

• Factory Reset: A factory reset will reset the Chromecast device to its default factory settings. Follow these steps to factory reset your Chromecast, depending on the model you have.
• Set up a Chromecast: You'll need to set up your Chromecast again afterward, including connecting to Wi-Fi and linking your Google account. Follow these steps to Set up your Chromecast device.
