ChromeCast connected Screen issue

My chrome cast was set up successfully, i think, but after I did all the setting up it came up with “Connecting to (wifi name)” and then it finished connecting then cane up with “connected”, now it‘s coming with the “Connecting to (wifi name)” and the ”connected” on a loop but I dint think it’s actually doing anything because it already connected and the remote wont do anything and it been like this for an hour now

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device are you using? Is this a first-time setup? Also, what steps have you taken so far? Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:
 

  • Reboot your Chromecast device and Wi-Fi router.
  • Ensure that your TV is within 15 feet of the router or access point.
  • Remove anything that may be causing interference.
  • Reboot your phone, then reinstall the Google Home app.
  • If it fails, try a factory reset, then re-setup.
