Hello,
I had encountered following issue with my brand new Chromecast 4.0 4K
Occasionally, when I wake it using it's pilot, it will not show video. Chromecast seems to be up, as BT speaker is connecting to it, but no image is shown on the monitor. This happens randomly, and the only workaround is to reset device by unplugging and plugging it again (and this is annoying, as there is not reset button on the device, I need to reach out behind the monitor to unplug it from the outlet)
Chromecast is used with computer monitor, the Philips BDM4037UW/00 and is set to FHD resolution (if it makes a difference) and before I used Realme Smart TV Stick 4K, also with Google TV, and nothing like this ever happened. Could it be a faulty Chromecast unit?

Thank you for reply, I will answer in order:
1. Yes, it is fully plugged in
2. Yes, nothing else is plugged to this monitor and it automatically detect signal from connected devices
3. Tried, no luck
4. I am using Chromecast own HDMI dongle
5. Nope, issue is when waking Chromecast itself (using power button on the pilot)
6. It is, so it's its pilot
7. It is on the latest I know of
Just to be on the same side, my issue is like this:
1. I power down (sleep?) Chromecast using power button on the pilot
2. I power it back on and occasionally (like 1 out of 5) there is no video, but BT devices (like a speaker) are connecting and I can hear the navigation sounds when I use press the pilot buttons. When this happens, all I can do is unplug/plug USB power cable as not even unplugging HDMI will fix it.
