Got the Chromecast with Google TV (4K) this morning.
Set it up correctly but for some reason the Assistant Button is not working.
When I hold it, I see "Hold the assistant button down and talk".
When I talk into it, nothing happens.
What I see is "Ask me a question, or try a suggestion".
I did the factory reset at least 3-4 times.
After a few seconds or minutes, I hear "hmm, something went wrong, try again in a few seconds" or "there's a glitch, try again in a few seconds".
What should I do?
Should I return the device? Is the device defective?

Thanks for the reply. I’m glad you finally sorted this out. Yes, some functions are disabled when using App Only mode. You can read more about it here: Hide personalized recommendations on Google TV. I hope this helps. Let us know if you still have questions or other concerns.
I’m also waiting for other users who are still experiencing the issue related to the bug.
