So, I got a Chromecast two months back in Hong Kong. Now it says it cannot connect to Wifi. I checked, and I am putting in the right password. At this point, I have done everything mentioned on Google's help page regarding this issue. From rebooting the Wi-Fi to rebooting the Chromecast, I would have done everything, but the same issue still persists. I not only did all these steps by myself but also along with Google's customer support on the phone.
Can anyone suggest what can be done to solve this problem?
Also, please note: When I asked customer support for the solution. She said she would contact her senior team and get back to me. She contacted me 1 day later, saying that they could not replace it as they don't serve in Hong Kong and to please go back to the place I purchased from. I went to the place I purchased from, and they said they couldn't do anything as well.
I came back and asked the same customer support again, if not Hong Kong then which location can they serve in. And they have replied to go back to the place I purchased from and not answering the question.
I am like if a product can't even last for two months, why does it exists? On top of it they don't wanna take responsibility for it. I wish I had not bought this!!!

Did you factory reset the Chromecast and try to set up from scratch? Have you tried using your phone as a hot spot and connecting to that?

Yes, I have already reset the factory on Chromecast. Still, wifi is not getting connected. I have tried doing both manually on TV and using the Google Home app.
Also, I tried connecting my phone's hotspot. It did not get connected.

Does it give any error code at all? So it can see the network, but can't connect ? Are you using wpa2 for your wifi security setting ?

no error code. It just says: "Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi
Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi. Try again or tap get help for more solutions."
Also, I guess the router is using wpa3. At least that's what it says on the box.

Does "cannot connect" you mentioned mean your Chromecast cannot pass the WIFI authentication, or it passed the WIFI authentication but it says "No internet"? For the latter case, there is a solution.

I guess it cannot even pass the wifi authentication. But I am not sure about that, as it just says this on the screen:
"Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi
Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi. Try again or tap get help for more solutions."
