I've been using the Google Ethernet adapter with my Google Chromecast TV for years without issue. I believe a recent update may have messed something up. Nothing has changed on my end. When using the ethernet connection my streaming always cuts out.
With the Ethernet connection I get speeds of almost 20Mbps, and with WIFI I get 50Mbps. The Ethernet connection keeps cutting out. Any ideas what's going on?
I tried all steps provided including factory reset.

Hi peterpiper,
Thank you for reaching out to our community.
I’m sorry to hear that your Chromecast Ethernet adapter isn’t stable and is losing connection. Thank you for sharing with us the troubleshooting steps you have taken and the description of the experience that you are going through, because it allows me to provide you with better assistance.
Before we get started with further troubleshooting, let me ask you some important questions:
Have you tried to use another power source to connect the Chromecast Ethernet adapter?
Could you please double check if the Ethernet cable is damaged?
Could you please try to use another Ethernet cable?
Is your Chromecast Ethernet adapter connected directly to your router?
Thanks for your kind attention; I will be looking forward to your answer.
