Hello,
My TV is AOC 65U6080 which is on the brand list. But when I tried to set up volume/power/input control, the button always doesn't work with any of the code and it ended up showing "It looks like the Google TV remote can't control the volume/power/input on this device". (The navigation on Google TV using remote is totally OK)
What I've tried: update remote, factory reset remote/chromecast, check the IR blaster with phone camera, try every HDMI ports (there are HDMI, HDMI-MHL, and HDMI-ARC)
Could you advice me the next step? Is this TV model just not working? Or can I control the TV with CEC? (not sure what it is but my TV has the function)
Thank you!

Hi AmberHsieh,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. There are hundreds and thousands of TV models from different manufacturers around the world. Even if not listed, some of these follow a particular standard. What you can try is trial and error to determine which brand or model may work. You can also search online for forums about users of these TVs who have found workarounds for getting them to work. I also suggest that you contact the TV manufacturer for more information. Let us know if you still have questions.
Thanks,
Kimy

Hello Kimy.
Thanks for the reply.
I've tried all the workarounds I found on forums, but none of them worked for me. And the TV manufacturer doesn't know how to help me either. It's frustrating to spend time on trial and error, only to realize that the product is not going to work as expected. But I'll just live with it.
Thanks again.
Amber
