Since you mentioned purchasing 3 more devices, I want to know if you bought a new bundle or just the voice remote. In the meantime, to better assist you, I'd like to ask the following:
- What is the specific model and generation of your Chromecast? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.
- Do you see any lights on the Chromecast when you're trying to pair or volume up the TV??
- How long was the remote functional before it stopped working?
- Are there any error messages from Chromecast when this issue occurred? If so, can you please take a picture of the error message?
- What type of batteries did you use? Are they the original batteries included in the box?
Additionally, I’d suggest the following steps:
- Try rebooting your Chromecast. For instructions, refer to the next article: Reboot your Chromecast device.
- Try using another remote to ensure Chromecast is the selected input.
- Check if the remote can control the Google TV interface but can’t turn on/off the TV or control the volume.
