I have installed the Chromecast with Google TV 4K in my old Coby TV for use in my Audio Mixer system (Stereo output only). I used the Coaxial Audio Output of the TV to connect to a generic DAC from Coax to RCA (stereo) so I can then connect it to my audio mixer. Unfortunately, the sound coming from my system from the coax output of the TV is intermittent.
What setting should I use to change the output sound from a native multi channel to a simple stereo output?
In this setting, Select Display & Sound Advanced sound settings
Surround sound format selection
Manual, may I know what "Manual" means? Is this also the path I should use to change to stereo output?
Thank you very much for your suggestions...

Hey there RiccoDavid,
I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Just out of curiosity, does the Coby TV meet the Chromecast requirements? All Chromecast devices require a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in. HDCP 2.2 is required to support 4K content. Most televisions that are 5 years old or newer and have HDMI ports will have at least one port that supports HDCP 2.2. Regardless, I would see if disabling surround sound would help with the intermittent audio.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
