Hello. Last night my Chromcast with Google TV starting giving me a screen that looks like the attached pic? I can't get a legible screen to stay on long enough to get into settings to restart and I don't have easy physical access to the device to unplug it. Has anyone seen this before? I can get Youtube TV to play and I can see a screen and hear audio but it has this static overlay (without the static moving). As soon as I try to go the home screen, the static goes mobile and I can't see anything. The device is online but when I try to access it through Google Home, Google Home says that it is offline and not on the same network (it is).
1. Has anyone seen this before?
2. Does anyone know a way to restart the device with a button combo since I can't easily unplug it and can't access the system settings?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Jason

Hey there docgould,
I'm sorry that your Chromecast is showing a bunch of static! I've seen this issue before, so I'd be happy to help you out. You mentioned you don't have access to the Chromecast device, however, the only way to restart it is in the Google TV settings, or by unplugging the Chromecast power cable for a minute. If you are able to reach the Chromecast power cable via the wall outlet, start there. Otherwise, I'd recommend unplugging the Chromecast entirely and re-plugging it back in. If the problem persists, try a different HDMI port.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
