It's what the title says. The Chromecast should be able to connect the network using WPA2, but it doesn't. Putting the network on WPA2 only mode allows the Chromecast to connect. Switching it back to coexistence mode ensures that the CC will be unable to connect again.

Hi aaaaaa,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community!
The Chromecast with Google TV only supports wireless security networks such as WEP, WPA and/or WPA2. While WPA3 isn’t supported yet, this might be the reason that the Chromecast with Google TV is unable to connect when you switched to the coexistence mode.
Will take this as feedback and pass it along to the right team. You can also send feedback about your Chromecast device through the Google Home app.
Thanks,
Jennifer

It should not matter if the Chromecast does not support WPA3. I have plenty of devices that only support WPA2 and they're able to connect to my network using WPA2 just fine. The Chromecast doesn't connect to the network using WPA2 despite the network supporting WPA2.
