Hello,
I bought a Chromecast with Google TV 4 months ago and over the past 2 months i am experiencing blinking black screen, which becomes permanent after a while ,and displaying issues when I am watching any content or on the home screen. It takes place almost every day.
Lately i have additonal distortion problems in sound and screen. I have tried to plug it into different HMDI ports but that did not fix the issue.
I even plug into a different TV and that doesn’t help either.
I also checked the software. But The software is up to date.
I rebooted and set the device from the beginning but that also doesn’t help.
I unplugged the device from the power supply for 24 hours but that doesn’t work too.
It is very annoying to use a device in this condition.
I hope there is a solution.
Thanks in advance

Hey there Ringo,
I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that black screen issue? If not, in this scenario, you may want to look at getting a hold of Chromecast support. They should be able to look into the issue deeper, and replace the device if needed. Here is how to get a hold of them, you'll just need to go through the prompts, then you should have an option to call, receive a call, or talk via online chat.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

Hi Jeran.
I couldn’t fix the issue.
Unfortunately there is no Chromecast support in Turkey So I send the device back to the dealer where I bought it from. I hope they will replace it.
Thanks for your interest

Hey there Ringo,
I am sorry to hear that! Hopefully, when you get that replacement device, things will work properly for you. If you still run into issues with the new device, please feel free to start a new thread. I'm going to go ahead and lock up this thread for now.
Have a good one!
Best regards,
Jeran
