The remote settings for Haier Tv (volume, on/off) do not work with both codes given.
What can I do?
Thanks.

Hi Doobi,
The ability to control a TV's volume with the Chromecast with Google TV remote is a feature that is not available for all TV's. You can try as I have with a Toshiba TV I own that doesn't work with volume control, switch the volume control to Chromecast instead of (IR) or Auto CEC.
Turn up the TV volume with the TV remote and just use the Chromecast volume for adjustment.

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help, Cathal_S and Jeran.
Doobi, how's it going? Still need help with this? If yes, please also try to plug the Chromecast device on a different HDMI port on your TV and try to set up your Voice Remote by following the steps listed in this support website article.
Thanks,
Jennifer

You may also try to reach out to your TV manufacturer for additional help.
