Hello,
My Brand new chromecast remote has been erratic since purchased a few weeks ago.
I have searched the threads and attempted to:
Pair/unpair
Factory reset (no batteries for ten mins)
Unplugged chromecast
I am at a loss as what to do. It works fine with our TV remote. It is really frustrating. What else can I try?

If it persists, then this is mostly hardware-related now. Since you mentioned that it’s brand new, you can reach out to our support team for a replacement here: Contact Us. You may choose the option of a live chat or a callback from a live representative. We can also send you a form if you prefer communication via email. But if it’s easier for you to just replace it from where you bought it, you can also do that too.
