Google Chromecast Stuck at G

Hi, Google Chromecast stuck at G.....cannot proceed from this point.

Please Help.

Make sure your you chromecast with google tv is plug in to the adapter it came with and to a outlet. It should not be connect to your tv or a usb port. You can also plug out your device and leave off for a min then plug it back in. Then if that does not work you can factory reset. 

@AzielAugust1000 i have performed the check as you said above but still stuck at G......don't know how to do factory reset as remote is not functional and also when i press the button on the light blue chromecast 4k, the light does not change. Only a white light stays constantly......is there any other way to factory reset? Thx

There is only on way to physically factory reset and is to press and hold the button for 30 sec to the back of the chromecast. If that does not work then it could be a faulty device and I would call google to have them exchange it.

@AzielAugust1000 yh no reset occur after holding the button for a while...bought the device a while ago no receipt so doubt they will exchange it....might just throw it in the bin! But thank u for ur assistance....
