Google Nest 3rd Gen not controlling boiler

Hello

Had a Google 3rd Gen fitted to my new Worcester Greenstar 8000 boiler (definitely compatible) today, but it doesn't seem to control the boiler, which relentlessly heats the place up until I switch it off (at the mains). Tried a reset (hold heat link down for 10 secs) and a factory reset ('all settings' via the thermostat) but I still see that **bleep** pilot light on even if the thermostat is set to 'off'.  I can hear the heat link click on/off when I use the themostat or app. Any suggestions?

Hey @isthisalsotaken,

I'd love to help. Can you tell me what wires you have in the Heat Link terminals?

The setup is pretty straight forward and has been working without any issues for about two years. I haven't run into this issue until I replaced my Chromecast with Google TV (4k) with the new Google TV Streamer.

So I replaced my old Chromecast with the new Google TV streamer about two weeks ago. The apps that I use are Moonlight and or the Steamlink app the game being casted is Rocksmith 2014 or Rocksmith+.

My guitar is plugged into my PC through a Rocksmith USB cable and the PC is casted to my TV through Google TV Streamer through the apps Moonlight/Steamlink. I noticed that it lowered the audio of the songs I was trying to play along to as soon as I began playing. The audio of the song would get lowered to about 50% of its original volume. As soon as you stop playing along to the song the audio begins to go back to its original volume.

I don't know if this is an intended thing with the new Google TV Streamer or a bug. I have tried all the audio setting options on/off all separately to see if it was a setting doing it but its not. I hope it is a bug and it can get sorted.
