When I first turn on my TV the input states source not available even though the Google TV device is plugged in and the light shows as on. I need to unplug the device and plug it back in. It will then work until the next day after turning off my TV. I have searched this board and I see many people with this same issue, but no solution is posted.

Hi Ed17,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’re sorry for the trouble, and this is not the experience that we wanted you to have. Yes, this was one of the recognized bugs, and this issue did come and go until an intended patch fix was sent and completed around October 2023, although there are still a few users reporting this. We tend to think that the previous patch file may have been overlapping or that there are missing files from the data library due to the consecutive patches. And now, a newly rolled-out Android TV OS build, STTL.231114.004, has been released. Kindly update yours to the latest one. I suggest you do a full clean-up by performing a factory reset, then setting it up from scratch to remove any corrupted files or overlapped data (after the update). If it persists after this, then let us know so we can forward this to our support team.
Thanks,
Kimy
