Google Tv not closing down

Normally I could stop Google Tv by pressing on my Tv remote (choose the Tv inpit) and choosing Tv signal to watch a channel from my cable Tv. But after about 10 second the Google Tv start up again. The only solution is pressing the power off button on the white Google Tv remote. This is a problem that startet last week. Normally I could do everything with my Tv remote. The Google Tv icon also changed. There is now a red power symbol on the icon. I've tried a factory reset but it won't help. So the problem is that I no longer just can back out of Google Tv. Only by help off pressing the power off button on the Google remote. What to do?
