Issues casting spotify

So recently my Chromecast hasn't worked correctly with Spotify. It might take a few tries to connect, and when I do the audio cuts in and out at regular ~0.5-second intervals. This happens regardless of the device I try to cast from, and it is only an issue with Spotify; Netflix, Prime, and Disney all work as they should. I am not having any problems casting Spotify on any other devices. I have tried clearing the app caches for both Spotify and Google Home, rebooting the device, and factory resetting the device. The issue has persisted for a few weeks now, and nothing seems to help it 😕

 

Any other suggestions?

Hi 1SJD,

 

Thanks for reaching out and for doing some steps beforehand — I appreciate it! Is your Spotify account linked in the Google Home app? If yes, please unlink it in the Google Home app then uninstall your Spotify app in your mobile phone. Once done, relink it in the Google Home app and reinstall it in your mobile phone then, check if the same issue will persist.
