Fan not Turing off even when you switch to off

Hey there,

 

Does the fan stop running after you remove the device from the backplate? If the system continues running beyond five minutes, after the Nest thermostat has been removed from the backplate, the problem lies in the control system of your furnace/heating system. Please let me know, as I want to ensure you are good to go.

I removed the controller for 15min and the fan continues run on the A/C.

Hey there,

 

If that is the case, I would recommend having an HVAC pro come out and take a closer look. They would be able to isolate the issue, and ensure the system is working properly.
