Peacock not playing Videos

I have the up to date Version 4.11.22 Peacock App installed on my GCCWGTV 4K (Google Chromecast With Google Tv 4k) with the latest Google update version STTE.230915.005.S1.

I have the Peacock Ad Plan and the App opens fine and I can Navigate, see and hear the previews when moved over them.

  However no matter what show I click on to play I get a Black screen with a yellow circle for 15-20 seconds and then it always goes back to the main screen of the shows episode you are trying to watch and NOTHING ever plays. 

It started doing this Friday December 8th after the GCCWGTV updated to STTE.230915.005.S1 version. I have restarted the device, unplugged power for 3 minutes, cleared cache, cleared data, Uninstalled and Reinstalled Peacock App several times and it will still not play anything other than the previews and the 160-180 second commercials then it will either display the yellow circle or return back to the main screen.

Again this only started doing this after the Google update.

On December 12 th I left a review on the Peacock App in the Google play store and also emailed Peacock at both of their emails  # # but have not had any email replies.

Is anyone experiencing this?

Did you do a Factory Reset and did it fix the problem?

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. We’re sorry for the trouble, and this is not the experience that we wanted you to have. If all other apps are working fine, then this issue is isolated to this Peacock app only. Since you’ve already done most of the appropriate troubleshooting steps, I suggest you do a full clean-up by performing a factory reset and setting it up from scratch to remove any possible corrupted files or data. I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
