Pin lock apps

Why is there no option to be able to lock individual apps by PIN? This is standard on Android TV. I am constantly battling and uninstalling YouTube with my kids. I have child profiles set up but sometimes forget to activate them.

Please add this as a feature. It's already standard on other devices and so should be on all Google TV products. Ridiculous

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Parental control is applicable for this, where you can set up a kid's profile. You can choose which apps can only be installed on your kids profiles and limit their viewing hours. There’s no need to go and check in their individual rooms to know if they’re watching TV because you already restricted it. This may not be applicable if the TV is shared.
