Hello!
I just updated my Chromecast to Android 14 and the related January 2025 security patches and by activating the HDMI-CEC function I noticed that the audio of the apps and the Chromecast menu itself does not work.
After several tests I noticed that by deactivating the HDMI-CEC function the audio worked correctly and therefore I imagine it is a bug in the new update.
I wanted to report it to the developers so they can find a solution to restore a very convenient function

Hi! Thanks for the reply, I already reported the problem from the Chromecast feedback menu but I will do the same from the link you just sent me. I hope this problem with HDMI-CEC will be solved quickly since it is a very convenient function to avoid having to use multiple remote controls. Fortunately I have not encountered any other problems after the update to Android 14 and I can access the settings menu and all its functions without problems
