I am having trouble searching for apps, movies and anything else to do with search. When I search it either thinks for eternity or takes me back to the home page without showing search results.
I have the Chromecast 2 (4K), completed a factory reset, apps only mode is off, reset router and tried a different HDMI port.
Please help.

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. To cover all the bases, could you please move the Chromecast with Google TV 4K closer to your router if possible? Also, plug in the device on a different HDMI port on your TV or another TV screen. Connecting it to another Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot to isolate the issue might also help.
