Stuck on load with multicolor flashing screen

Hello.

 

I turned on my Chromecast 4k today, and just got this flashing screen. It doesn't load past this.

Hi Clownbutts,

 

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device are you using? How long have you been using it? When did it start? Also, what steps have you taken so far? Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

 

  • Reboot your Chromecast device, TV, and Wi-Fi router.
  • Switch to a different HDMI port.
  • Switch to a different power source or a different power cord.
  • If it fails, try a factory reset, then re-setup.

I had this once you just need to move it to a new HDMI port

I had tried resetting, changing the HDMI port, all of that, but it eventually just fixed itself when it decided that it was ready to.
